68. The Committee reiterates its previous recommendation (CRC/C/15/Add.14, para. 21) that the State party ensure that its policy and legislation on the issue of child labour is in conformity with the provisions of the Convention and relevant ILO conventions.

The Ministry of the Interior, as represented by this unit, participates in all national meetings, conferences and workshops organized in the context of human rights, including the rights of children. By way of illustration, the Ministry participated in this way in the work of the national committee established to address the issue of child labour and develop a national strategy for the elimination of the worst forms of child labour.
كما تشارك وزارة الداخلية من خلال هذه الوحدة في كافة اللقاءات والمؤتمرات وورشات العمل الوطنية التي تعقد في سياق حقوق الإنسان بما فيها حقوق الطفل كمشاركتها على سبيل المثال في اللجنة الوطنية الخاصة بعمل الأطفال لإعداد استراتيجية وطنية للقضاء على أسوأ أشكال عمالة الأطفال.

4. Welcomes the legislative and administrative steps taken by States to promote and protect the rights of workers, eliminate forced child labour, eradicate exploitative child labour and address the issue of child labour through education, social support and alternative income-generating activities, and calls upon States that have not yet done so to take such measures;
