لقد أكدت بلادي دائما أن تحقيق السلام الشامل في الشرق الأوسط لن يتم إلاّ بإنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لمرتفعات الجولان السورية والأراضي اللبنانية.

Here I wish to note that the bad situation in Palestine is no better than the situation of the peoples of other occupied Arab territories, including the occupied Golan and the Lebanese territories that are still occupied by Israel.
وأود هنا أن أشير إلى أن هذا الوضع السيئ في فلسطين ليس بأفضل من الوضع الذي يتعرض له سكان الأراضي العربية المحتلة، سواء في الجولان السوري المحتل أو في الأراضي اللبنانية التي لا زالت محتلة من قبل إسرائيل.

Peace in the Middle East must be comprehensive; it requires the full implementation of resolutions of international legality, particularly Security Council resolutions 242 (1967) and 338 (1973), which call for Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories, including the Golan Heights, and Security Council resolution 425 (1978), regarding the Lebanese territories remaining under occupation.
إن تحقيق السلام في الشرق الأوسط كل لا يتجزأ وشمولية هذا السلام تستوجب التنفيذ الكامل لمرجعيات هذه الشرعية وفي مقدمتها قرارا مجلس الأمن 242 (1967) و 338 (1973) اللذان ينصان على انسحاب إسرائيل من جميع الأراضي العربية المحتلة، بما في ذلك الجولان العربي السوري، وكذلك قرار المجلس 425 (1978) فيما يتصل ببقية الأراضي اللبنانية التي لا تزال محتلة.

Any current initiative that fails to take those requirements into consideration will never succeed. Any effort that does not put an end to the occupation of the Syrian Golan and the Lebanese territories will be similarly doomed.
إن أي مبادرات حالية لا تأخذ هذه المتطلبات في الاعتبار، لن يُكتب لها النجاح، كما أن أي مبادرة لا تضع حدا لاحتلال هضبة الجولان السورية والأراضي اللبنانية ستذهب أدراج الرياح.

إن الأوضاع التي يعيشها المواطنون العرب في الجولان العربي السوري المحتل، والأراضي اللبنانية التي لا زالت تحت سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، ليست بأفضل من الأوضاع التي يعاني منها الفلسطينيون، وليست على نحو مرض كما قد يعتقد البعض، فهم أيضا يتعرضون لانتهاكات صارخة لحقوق الإنسان، ويعانون من عسف وجبروت سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.

Lebanon has responded to the Israeli allegations in numerous documents, in particular document A/56/1012-S/2002/829 dated 24 July 2002, in which it reaffirmed that Hezbollah's resistance was aimed at liberating the Lebanese territories still occupied by Israel and that it was responding to the violations of the Blue Line which Israel committed daily by sending warplanes to overfly the entire Lebanese territory as a provocation.
لقد رد لبنان على المزاعم الإسرائيلية في الكثير من الوثائق كانت إحداها الوثيقة رقم A/56/1012-S/2002/829 تاريخ 24 تموز/يوليه 2002. حيث أكد فيها أن حزب الله يقاوم ما تبقى من احتلال إسرائيلي للأراضي اللبنانية. كما أنه يرد على الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية اليومية للخط الأزرق والمتمثلة في طلعات الطيران الإسرائيلية الاستفزازية والتي تغطي لبنان من جنوبه إلى شماله ومن غربه إلى شرقه.

24 - Hails the steadfastness of Lebanon - Government, People and Resistance - and what has been achieved in terms of the liberation of the Lebanese territories and the repelling of the Israeli occupation.
