The Advisory Committee recommends that the Assembly take note of the report of the Secretary-General and endorse the maintenance of the lump-sum arrangement for funding of UNHCR in future budget presentations of the proposed programme budget.
وتوصي اللجنة الاستشارية بأن تحيط الجمعية العامة علماً بتقرير الأمين العام وتؤيد الإبقاء على ترتيب منحة المبلغ الإجمالي لتمويل المفوضية في عروض الميزانيات المقبلة للميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة.

The Secretary-General indicated that the lump-sum arrangement had simplified the work of UNHCR by eliminating the need for separate administrative procedures in respect of those management and administration posts funded under the regular budget.

1. The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions has considered the report of the Secretary-General on the review of the lump-sum arrangement of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) (A/63/537).

VI.24 The amount of $83,717,500 proposed for the biennium 2012-2013 under the lump-sum arrangement from the regular budget relates to the following (ibid., para. 25.24):
