9. At its 87th Session in June 1999 the International Labour Conference addressed the question of the revision of the Maternity Protection Convention (Revised) (No. 103), and Recommendation (No. 95), 1952.

This convention was adopted by ILO member countries in June 2003 which revised the Maternity Protection Convention No. 103 of 1952 and maternity protection recommendation, 1952 (No. 95).

The Committee noted that the Government report stated that preparatory work undertaken for the purposes of ratifying the Maternity Protection Convention, 2000 (No. 183) envisaged adopting such a provision.

Since January 2011, Montenegro ratified International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention No.183 (2000) concerning the revision of the Maternity Protection Convention (Revised), 1952, which additionally protects women during maternity leave, in a way that it ensures that following the maternity leave they will return to their original job, or a suitable alternative position with the same salary.
101- منذ كانون الثاني/يناير 2011 صدَّق الجبل الأسود على اتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 183(2000) المتعلقة بتنقيح اتفاقية حماية الأمومة (المنقحة) لعام 1952، التي تضيف حماية إضافية للمرأة أثناء أجازة الأمومة بطريقة تكفل عودتها بعد أجازة الأمومة إلى وظيفتها الأصلية أو إلى مركز بديل مناسب بنفس المرتب.

Joint Submission 6 (JS6) recommends that Panama ratify the following International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions: the Workers with Family Responsibilities Convention, 1981 (No. 156); the Maternity Protection Convention, 2000 (No. 183); and the Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, 1989 (No. 169).
