1. With reference to Statistical Commission decision 44/106, the Friends of the Chair group on the measurement of international trade and economic globalization was established to prepare a concept paper:
1 - بالإشارة إلى مقرر اللجنة الإحصائية 44/106، أنشئ فريق أصدقاء الرئيس المعني بقياس التجارة الدولية والعولمة الاقتصادية لإعداد ورقة مفاهيمية:

1. In accordance with decision 45/106, adopted by the Statistical Commission at its forty-fifty session, the present report is submitted by the Friends of the Chair group on the measurement of international trade and economic globalization and contains proposals for a conceptual framework, programme of work and coordination mechanism in that regard.

Also in its decision 44/106, the Commission agreed to create the Friends of the Chair group on the measurement of international trade and economic globalization and tasked it with preparing a concept paper on the scope and content of the framework and on the appropriate mechanism for coordinating work in this area.
2 - ووافقت اللجنة أيضاً في مقررها 44/106 على إنشاء فريق أصدقاء الرئيس المعني بقياس التجارة الدولية والعولمة الاقتصادية وأناطت به مهمة إعداد ورقة مفاهيمية تتعلق بنطاق الإطار ومضمونه، وبالآلية الملائمة لتنسيق العمل في هذا المجال.

(a) Appreciated the report on the measurement of international trade and economic globalization, and congratulated the Friends of the Chair group for its work accomplished so far;
(أ) أعربت عن تقديرها لإعداد التقرير عن قياس التجارة الدولية والعولمة الاقتصادية() وهنأت فريق أصدقاء الرئيس على العمل الذي أنجزه حتى الآن؛

In its decision 44/106 (see E/2013/24), the Commission therefore agreed to the creation of a friends of the chair group tasked with preparing a concept paper on the scope and content of a framework for the measurement of international trade and economic globalization and on an appropriate mechanism for coordination.
ولذلك، وافقت اللجنة، في مقررها 44/106 (انظر E/2013/24)، على إنشاء فريق أصدقاء للرئيس تناط به مهمة إعداد ورقة مفاهيمية بشأن نطاق ومضمون إطار قياس التجارة الدولية والعولمة الاقتصادية، وعلى إنشاء آلية مناسبة للتنسيق.

(b) The proposal by the Friends of the Chair group that it continue its preparation of the concept paper on the measurement of international trade and economic globalization and present a report, including a conceptual framework, programme of work and coordination mechanism, to the Commission at its forty-sixth session, in 2015, for its consideration.
(ب) اقتراح فريق أصدقاء الرئيس بأن يواصل إعداد الورقة المفاهيمية بشأن قياس التجارة الدولية والعولمة الاقتصادية ويقدم تقريرا يتضمن إطارا مفاهيميا وبرنامج عمل وآلية تنسيق إلى اللجنة في دورتها السادسة والأربعين، في عام 2015، للنظر فيه.

Accordingly, the Task Force reviewed the annotated outline of the revised Balance of Payments Manual for issues impacting on the measurement of international trade in services and associated issues raised at a meeting of the IMF Balance of Payments Technical Expert Group, held in Paris on 13 and 14 September 2004.
