369. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 31/2 of 29 September 1976, the membership of the Board is open to all members of the Conference.

2. At its 28th meeting, on 5 November 1999, the Fifth Committee had before it a note by the Secretary-General (A/54/103) concerning the vacancy in the membership of the Board of Auditors that will occur as a result of the expiration of the term of office of one of its members on 30 June 2000.
٢ - وكان معروضا على اللجنة الخامسة، في جلستها ٢٨، المعقودة يوم ٥ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٩، مذكرة من اﻷمين العام (A/54/103) بشأن الشاغر الذي سينشأ في عضوية مجلس مراجعي الحسابات نتيجة انتهاء عضوية أحد أعضائه في ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٩.

3. Of the members elected at the first election after the increase in the membership of the Board from eleven to thirteen members the terms of six members shall expire at the end of three years and the terms of the other seven members shall expire at the end of five years.
٣ - تنتهي بعد انقضاء ثلاث سنوات عضوية ستة من الأعضاء المنتخبين في أول انتخاب بعد زيادة عدد أعضاء الهيئة من 11 عضوا إلى 13 عضوا، وتنتهي مدد عضوية الأعضاء السبعة الآخرين بعد انقضاء خمس سنوات.

272. In accordance with General Assembly resolution 31/2 of 29 September 1976, the membership of the Board is open to all members of the Conference.
