106 - وأكد الوزراء مجدداً على المواقف المبدئية للحركة بشأن نزع الأسلحة النووية، إذ ما زال يمثل هذا الهدف الأولوية القصوى للحركة، وكذلك القضايا المرتبطة بعدم انتشار السلاح النووي بمختلف مظاهره، وأبرزوا أهمية تزامُن الجهود الرامية لمنع انتشار الأسلحة النووية والجهود الرامية لنزع السلاح النووي.

With regard to the non-proliferation regime, the Ministers reaffirmed the need for adherence by all countries, including India and Pakistan, to the Non-Proliferation Treaty as it stood, without any modification, stressing that India and Pakistan did not have the status of nuclear-weapon States in accordance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
وفيما يتعلق بنظام عدم الانتشار، أعاد الوزراء التأكيد على ضرورة انضمام جميع البلدان، ومن بينها الهند والباكستان، إلى معاهدة عدم الانتشار بصيغتها الحالية ودون أي تعديل، وشددوا على أن الهند وباكستان لا تتمتعان بمركز الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية بموجب معاهدة عدم الانتشار.
