38. In addition to the above, the NCHR is mandated to follow up complaints relating to the rights of children that are within its field of competence.
38- كما يضطلع المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان بالإضافة لما ذكر بمهمة متابعة الشكاوى المتعلقة بحقوق الطفل التي تدخل في نطاق ولاية عمله وذلك من خلال القيام بما يلي:

the NCHR's Advocacy and Training Unit participated in an initiative designed to enhance awareness of human rights (including the rights of children) in all areas.
- إسهام وحدة التوعية والتدريب في المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان في رفع مستوى الوعي تجاه حقوق الإنسان في كافة المجالات ومن ضمنها التعريف بحقوق الطفل.

Further, the Grievances and Human Rights Office makes periodic and surprise inspections, either individually or jointly with the NCHR, to Correction and Rehabilitation Centers and temporary detention facilities. In total, there have been 394 such visits during 2009.
كما يقوم مكتب المظالم وحقوق الإنسان بتنفيذ زيارات تفتيشية دورية ومفاجئة بشكل منفرد وأخرى بالاشتراك مع المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان لمراكز الإصلاح والتأهيل وأماكن الحجز المؤقت والنظارات وقد بلغ مجموع هذه الزيارات 394 زيارة خلال عام 2009.

the NCHR indicated that there still exist some impediments that infringe on child rights, in particular the non-existence of a national law that would protect these rights and limit the violations faced by children.
7- وأفاد المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان بأنه لا يزال يوجد بعض المعوقات التي تنتهك حقوق الطفل، وبخاصة عدم وجود قانون وطني يحمي هذه الحقوق ويحد من الانتهاكات التي يواجهها الأطفال(11).

8- ولاحظ المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان أن الأردن هو من بين أول الدول التي صدَّقت على اتفاقية حقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وأنه اعتمد قانوناً بشأن حقوق المعوقين.

the NCHR said that in addition to the slow pace of litigation, national legislation such as the prevention of terrorism law, the prevention of crimes law and the economic crimes law, contain provisions that are not in conformity with human rights standards and contravene the provisions of the Constitution.
وقال المركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان إنه بالإضافة إلى بطء إجراءات التقاضي، فإن التشريعات الوطنية، مثل قانون منع الإرهاب، وقانون منع الجرائم، وقانون الجرائم الاقتصادية، تتضمن أحكاماً لا تتوافق مع معايير حقوق الإنسان وتتعارض مع أحكام الدستور.

HRW, while reporting similar information, noted that the GID granted HRW access to its detention facility in August 2007 and also allowed the NCHR to conduct coordinated visits to the GID detention facility since late 2005.
13- وبينما قدَّم مرصد حقوق الإنسان معلومات مماثلة، فقد لاحظ أن إدارة المخابرات العامة قد أتاحت له الدخول إلى مرفق احتجاز تابع لها في آب/أغسطس 2007، كما سمحت للمركز الوطني لحقوق الإنسان بالقيام بزيارات منسَّقة إلى مركز الاحتجاز التابع لها وذلك منذ أواخر عام 2005.

A doctor from the NCHR also visited Mr. Agiza.
وزار أيضاً دكتور من المجلس القومي لحقوق الإنسان السيد عجيزة.

Recalling its general recommendation No. 17 (1993) on the establishment of national institutions to facilitate the implementation of the Convention, the Committee recommends that the State party strengthen the NCHR's independence and mandate and provide it with financial and human resources in order to efficiently fight against discrimination.
واللجنة إذ تذكِّر بتوصيتها العامة رقم 17(1993) بشأن إنشاء مؤسسات وطنية لتيسير تنفيذ الاتفاقية، توصي الدولة الطرف بتعزيز استقلالية المركز الوطني السلوفاكي لحقوق الإنسان وولايته وتزويده بالموارد المالية والبشرية لكي يكافح التمييز بفعالية.

52. There is cooperation with many parties such as non-governmental organizations and the NCHR to train officers of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and GID.
