٢- يجوز ﻷي طرف أن يرشح خبراء في القائمة، بغض النظر عن جنسياتهم، مع مراعاة الحاجة إلى نهج متعدد الاختصاصات وإلى التوزيع الجغرافي العريض.

3. Ad hoc panels shall be composed of experts whose names are taken from the roster of independent experts, taking into account the need for a multidisciplinary approach and broad geographical representation.
٣- تتكون اﻷفرقة المخصصة من خبراء تستمد أسماؤهم من قائمة الخبراء المستقلين، مع مراعاة الحاجة إلى نهج متعدد الاختصاصات وتمثيل جغرافي عريض.

١- تنص الفقرة ٢ من المادة ٤٢ من اتفاقية مكافحة التصحر على أن يضع مؤتمر اﻷطراف قائمة بأسماء خبراء مستقلين من ذوي الخبرة الفنية والتمرس في الميادين ذات الصلة ويحتفظ بهذه القائمة، وعلى أن توضع القائمة بناء على ترشيحات ترد كتابة من اﻷطراف مع مراعاة الحاجة إلى اتباع نهج متعدد التخصصات ومحقق للتمثيل الجغرافي الواسع النطاق.
