وقامت الأمانة مؤخراً بخطوة أولى تمثلت في إنجاز دراسة تقنية معمقة بشأن " التعاون النقدي الإقليمي وسياسات تعزيز النمو: التحديات الجديدة التي تواجهها منطقة أمريكا اللاتينية والبحر الكاريبي " . وتبحث هذه الدراسة العلاقة بين سياسات الاقتصاد الكلي الداعمة للنمو والتعاون النقدي الإقليمي الناجح.
