ويدين المجلس زرع اﻷلغام البرية وغير ذلك من اﻷخطار المشار إليها في تقرير اﻷمين العام التي تهدد بعثة المراقبين وقوة حفظ السلام الجماعية التابعة لرابطة الدول المستقلة.

وإذ يذكﱢر الطرفين بأن قدرة المجتمع الدولي على مساعدتهما تتوقف على إرادتهما السياسية لتسوية النزاع من خلال الحوار والتراضي، وكذلك على تعاونهما التام مع بعثة المراقبين وقوة حفظ السلام، بما في ذلك الوفاء بالتزاماتهما بشأن سلامة اﻷفراد الدوليين وحرية تنقلهم،

“Commending the contribution the Observer Mission and the peacekeeping force have made to stabilize the situation in the zone of conflict, and stressing the importance of continued close cooperation and coordination between them in the performance of their respective mandates,

وإذ يرحب في هذا السياق بما قدمته قوة حفظ السلام وبعثة المراقبين من إسهام في تحقيق استقرار الحالة في منطقة النزاع، وإذ يلاحظ أن التعاون بين بعثة المراقبين وقوة حفظ السلام يسيــر علـى نحـو طيب وأنه استمر في الازديــاد، وإذ يؤكــد أهميـة مواصلـة التعاون والتنسيق بينهمـا بصــورة وثيقــة فــي أداء الولايات المنوطة بكل منهما،

It calls upon the parties to take all measures in their power to prevent mine-laying and intensified activities by armed groups and to cooperate fully with the Observer Mission and the peacekeeping force in order to honour their commitments to ensure the safety and the freedom of movement of all personnel of the United Nations, the peacekeeping force and international humanitarian organizations.
ويطلب المجلس من الطرفين أن يتخذا كل ما في وسعهما من تدابير لمنع بث اﻷلغام والأنشطة المكثفة التي تزاولها الجماعات المسلحة، وأن يتعاونا تعاونا كاملا مع بعثة المراقبين وقوة حفظ السلام من أجل الوفاء بالتزاماتهما بكفالة سلامة جميع أفراد اﻷمم المتحدة وقوة حفظ السلام والمنظمات اﻹنسانية الدولية، وضمان حرية تنقلهم.

9. Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly before the second part of its resumed fifty-third session a report on the status of implementation of measures taken or initiated to address appropriately the issues, observations and recommendations contained in the report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services4 and other related actions taken by the Observer Mission and the Secretariat;
٩ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة قبل بدء الجزء الثاني من دورتها الثالثة والخمسين المستأنفة تقريـــرا عن حالـــــة تنفيذ التدابير التي اتخذت أو بدأ اتخاذها لمعالجة المسائل والملاحظات والتوصيات الواردة في تقرير مكتــــب خدمات المراقبة الداخلية)٤( على النحو الواجب، فضلا عن اﻹجراءات اﻷخرى ذات الصلة التي اتخذتها بعثة المراقبين واﻷمانة العامة؛
