7. Requests the Secretary-General in this regard, capitalizing on the useful guidance provided by certain cases of claims reviewed by the F4 Panel, to consider taking appropriate measures, within existing resources and in consultation with the relevant United Nations agencies, to measure and quantify environmental damage resulting from the destruction of the oil storage tanks at the Jiyeh electric power plant;
7 - تطلب في هذا الصدد إلى الأمين العام أن يقوم، بالاستفادة من التوجيهات المجدية التي وفرتها حالات معينة من المطالبات استعرضها الفريق التابع للجنة الأمم المتحدة للتعويضات، بتعيين فريق مماثل، في حدود الموارد المتاحة، بالتشاور مع وكالات الأمم المتحدة المعنية، لقياس وتحديد حجم الضرر البيئي الناجم عن تدمير صهاريج تخزين النفط في محطة الجية لتوليد الكهرباء؛

In particular, it presents possible options for securing the relevant compensation from the Government of Israel, as requested by the Assembly in paragraph 5 of its resolution 67/201, and outlines measures that might be taken to measure and quantify environmental damage resulting from the destruction of the oil storage tanks at the Jiyeh electric power plant, as requested by the Assembly in paragraph 7 of the same resolution.

Of the possible options, the first would be to request the United Nations bodies and agencies and other relevant organizations involved in the initial assessment of the relevant environmental damage to undertake, subject to the availability of additional resources, a further study to assess the environmental damage that resulted from the destruction of the oil storage tanks at the Jiyeh electric power plant.
14 - وقد يتمثل الخيار الأول من مجموعة الخيارات الممكنة في أن يطلب من هيئات الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها والمنظمات الأخرى ذات الصلة التي شاركت في التقييم الأولي للضرر البيئي الواقع أن تجري، رهنا بتوافر المزيد من الموارد، دراسة أخرى لتقييم الضرر البيئي الناجم عن تدمير صهاريج تخزين النفط في محطة الجيّة لتوليد الكهرباء.

Welcomes the agreement of the Lebanon Recovery Fund to host the Eastern Mediterranean Oil Spill Restoration Trust Fund, based on voluntary contributions, to provide assistance and support to the States directly adversely affected in their integrated environmentally sound management, from clean-up to safe disposal of oily waste, of this environmental disaster resulting from the destruction of the oil storage tanks at Jiyeh electric power plant;
7 - ترحب بموافقة صندوق إنعاش لبنان على استضافة الصندوق الاستئماني لعلاج أضرار الانسكاب النفطي في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط، القائم على التبرعات، من أجل مد الدول التي تأثرت تأثرا سلبيا مباشرا بالمساعدة والدعم في مجال الإدارة المتكاملة والسليمة بيئيا، بدءا بالتنظيف ووصولا إلى التخلص الآمن من النفايات النفطية لهذه الكارثة البيئية الناجمة عن تدمير صهاريج تخزين النفط في محطة الجية لتوليد الكهرباء؛
