Rule 30 of the rules of procedure provides that, at the opening of each session of the General Assembly, the Chairman of that delegation from which the President of the previous session was elected shall preside until the Assembly has elected a President for the session.
وتنص المادة 30 من النظام الداخلي على أنه لدى افتتاح كل دورة من دورات الجمعية العامة، يتولى الرئاسة رئيس الوفد الذي انتخب منه رئيس الدورة السابقة، وذلك حتى تنتخب الجمعية العامة رئيسا للدورة الجديدة.

وتنص المادة ٠٣ من النظام الداخلي على أنه لدى افتتاح كل دورة من دورات الجمعية العامة، يتولى الرئاسة رئيس الوفد الذي انتخب منه رئيس الدورة السابقة، وذلك حتى تنتخب الجمعية رئيسا للدورة الجديدة.

20. In view of those provisions, the present Special Committee did not find it necessary to make any formal recommendation on the allocation of agenda items at the opening of each session.
20 - ونظرا إلى وجود هذه النصوص، لم تجد هذه اللجنة الخاصة ضرورة لتقديم أية توصية بشأن توزيع بنود جدول الأعمال لدى افتتاح كل دورة.

3. The items proposed for inclusion in the provisional agenda pursuant to paragraph 2 bis shall be submitted with explanatory notes and relevant background documents to the Secretary—General not less than seven weeks before the opening of each session.
٣- تقدم البنود المقترح إدراجها في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت عملاً بالفقرة ٢ مكرراً مشفوعة بالمذكرات التفسيرية والوثائق اﻷساسية ذات الصلة إلى اﻷمين العام قبل سبعة أسابيع على اﻷقل من افتتاح كل دورة.

3. Items proposed for inclusion in the provisional agenda pursuant to paragraph 2 bis shall be submitted with basic documents in sufficient time to reach the SecretaryGeneral not less than seven weeks before the opening of each session.
3- تقدَّم إلى الأمين العام البنود المقترح إدراجها في جدول الأعمال المؤقت عملاً بالفقرة 2 مكرراً، مشفوعةً بالوثائق الأساسية، بحيث تصله قبل افتتاح كل دورة بفترة لا تقل عن سبعة أسابيع.

8- وتنص المادة 16 من النظام الداخلي للمؤتمر على ما يلي: " لدى افتتاح كل دورة من دورات المؤتمر، يتولى الرئاسة رئيس الوفد الذي انتُخب منه رئيس الدورة السابقة، وذلك حتى ينتخب المؤتمر رئيساً للدورة الجديدة " .

(e) Strongly urges Member States to submit draft resolutions one month prior to the opening of each session of the Commission, and reiterates its call that draft resolutions be accompanied by such information as the intended scope, a proposed timetable for implementation, identification of resources available and other relevant information, in accordance with the annex to Commission resolution 4/3;
(ﻫ) يحث الدول الأعضاء بشدة على أن تقدم مشاريع القرارات قبل افتتاح كل دورة من دورات اللجنة بمدة شهر ويكرر دعوته إلى أن تكون مشاريع القرارات هذه مصحوبة بمعلومات من قبيل النطاق المتوخى والجدول الزمني المقترح للتنفيذ وتحديد الموارد المتاحة وغير ذلك من المعلومات ذات الصلة، وفقا لمرفق قرار اللجنة 4/3؛

One delegation, noting its initiative in adopting resolution 56/509, by which the Assembly decided to elect its Presidents at least three months in advance of the opening of each session, proposed that these three months should be used as productively as possible and that a lesson learned report should be handed over immediately after the election and a follow-up report from the outgoing President at the closing of the session.
وإذ أشار أحد الوفود إلى المبادرة التي قام بها في اتخاذ القرار 56/509 الذي قررت بموجبه الجمعية العامة انتخاب رئيسها قبل افتتاح كل دورة بثلاثة أشهر على الأقل، فقد اقترح أن تستخدم فترة الثلاثة أشهر هذه بأقصى قدر يمكن أن تتحقق منه منفعة وأن يقدَّم تقرير بشأن الدروس المستفادة فور إتمام الانتخاب وأن يقدم الرئيس المنتهية ولايته تقرير متابعة لدى اختتام الدورة.
