In accordance with decision 2/CP.17, one of the functions of the SCF is to provide to the COP draft guidance to the operating entities of the Financial Mechanism of the Convention, with a view to improving the consistency and practicality of such guidance, taking into account the annual reports of the operating entities as well as relevant submissions from Parties.
31- تتمثل إحدى وظائف اللجنة الدائمة بموجب المقرر 2/م أ-17() في تزويد مؤتمر الأطراف بمشاريع إرشادات للكيانات التشغيلية التابعة للآلية المالية للاتفاقية، بغية تحسين اتساق هذه الإرشادات وطابعها العملي، مع مراعاة التقارير السنوية للكيانات التشغيلية وكذلك الإسهامات ذات الصلة الواردة من الأطراف.

29. The SCF reflected on the outcomes of its first forum and held an initial discussion on guidance to be provided to the operating entities of the financial mechanism of the Convention.
وبحثت اللجنة نتائج منتداها الأول ونظمت مناقشة أولية بشأن التوجيهات التي ستقدم إلى الكيانات التشغيلية للآلية المالية للاتفاقية.

17. Requests the secretariat to compile the submissions referred to in paragraph 16 above into a miscellaneous document for consideration by Parties in developing guidance to the operating entities of the financial mechanism of the Convention.
17- يطلب إلى الأمانة أن تجمِّع المساهمات المشار إليها في الفقرة 16 أعلاه في وثيقة متفرقات لتنظر فيها الأطراف عند وضع الإرشادات التي تقدم إلى كيانات تشغيل الآلية المالية للاتفاقية.
