The documentation submitted by Chile in 2005 in support of its methyl chloroform plan of action, which was subsequently adopted by the Seventeenth Meeting of the Parties in decision XVII/29, stated that in the second half of 2005 a series of workshops would be held with international experts to analyze the situation of companies using methyl chloroform and other ozone-depleting solvents in Chile and to discuss possible alternatives to their use.
