I also wish to express the profound gratitude of the people and Government of the Republic of Angola to the Secretary-General for his skill, energy and tenacity, and for all his efforts in the search for solutions to the innumerable and serious problems afflicting the peoples of our planet.
وأود كذلك اﻹعراب عن عميق امتنان شعب وحكومة جمهورية أنغولا لﻷمين العام لمهارته وطاقته ومثابرته ولكل جهوده المبذولة في السعي لحل المشاكل الخطيرة التي لا حصر لها والتي أبتليت بها شعوب كوكبنا.

3 - تعلن رسميا أن حق شعوب كوكبنا في العيش في سلام حق مقدس، وأن الحفاظ على السلام وتعزيـزه يشكل التزاما أساسيا يقع على عاتق كل دولة؛

The United Nations must be oriented towards achieving concrete results and meeting the pressing needs of the peoples of our planet.
ويجب أن تنحو الأمم المتحدة منحى موجهاً لتحقيق نتائج ملموسة وتلبية الاحتياجات الملحة لشعوب كوكبنا.

It is a significant effort to mobilize the forces of international cooperation at the highest possible level, an effort which we sincerely hope will give a strong impetus to the desire of humankind to construct a more just and secure world that will guarantee the survival, development and prosperity of the peoples of our planet.
إن تعبئة قوى التعاون الدولي على أرفع مستوى ممكن تتطلب جهدا كبيرا نأمل أملا مخلصا في أن يوفر زخما قويا لرغبة البشرية في تشييد عالم أكثر عدلا يكفل بقاء شعوب كوكبنا وتنميتها ورخاءها.
