وإذا أجريت ثلاثة اقتراعات غير مقيدة وكانت النتيجة غير حاسمة اقتصر في الاقتراعات الثلاثة التالية على المرشحين الذين يحصلون على أكبر عددٍ من الأصوات في ثالث اقتراع غير مقيد وعلى عددٍ لا يزيد على ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية التي يراد شغلها.

2 - إذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المراد ملؤها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لملء المناصب المتبقية، ويقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق، على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المناصب التي لا يزال يتعين ملؤها.

2. If the number of candidates obtaining such majority is less than the number of places to be filled, additional ballots shall be held to fill the remaining places, the voting being restricted to the candidates obtaining the greatest number of votes in the previous ballot to a number not more than twice the places remaining to be filled.
2 - إذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المراد شغلها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب الباقية، على أن يقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق بحيث لا يزيد عددهم عن ضعف عدد المناصب التي لم يتم شغلها.

3. ٣ - إذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه اﻷغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المقرر شغلها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقية، ويقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من اﻷصوات في الاقتراع السابق على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية.

٣ - وإذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه اﻷغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المقرر شغلها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقية، ويقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من اﻷصوات في الاقتراع السابق على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية.

فإذا أجريت ثلاثة من هذه الاقتراعات غير المقيدة دون أن تسفر عن نتيجة حاسمة، تقصر الاقتراعات الثلاثة التي تليها على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في ثالث اقتراع غير مقيد على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف المناصب المتبقية اللازم شغلها، وتكون الاقتراعات الثلاثة التي تلي هذه مقيدة، وهكذا دواليك، إلى أن تشغل تلك المناصب.

3 - إذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المقرر شغلها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لشغل المناصب المتبقية، ويقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية.

3- وإذا لم تحسم ثلاث عمليات اقتراع غير محدودة نتيجة الانتخاب، اقتصرت عمليات الاقتراع الثلاث التالية على المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراعين الثاني والثالث وعلى عدد لا يتجاوز ضعف المناصب المتبقية.

8. The Chair said that, since no candidate had received the required majority, in accordance with rule 94 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, an additional ballot would be held, the voting being restricted to the candidates obtaining the greatest number of votes in the previous ballot to a number not more than twice the places remaining to be filled.
8 - الرئيس: قال إن اقتراعا إضافيا سيجرى لعدم حصول أي مرشح على الأغلبية المطلوبة، وذلك وفقا للمادة 94 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة؛ وسيقتصر التصويت على المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق، على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية المراد شغلها.
