(a) To ensure that children in police custody or pre-trial or preventive detention can promptly appear before a court or tribunal to challenge that detention and that they have an opportunity to be heard either directly or through a representative or an appropriate body in a manner consistent with the procedural rules of national law, in order to obtain a prompt decision on any such action;
(أ) ضمان أن يكون بوسع الأطفال المحتجزين لدى الشرطة أو المحتجزين احتجازاً سابقاً لمحاكمتهم أو احتجازاً احتياطياً أن يمثلوا فوراً أمام محكمة أو هيئة تحكيمية لكي يعترضوا على هذا الاحتجاز وأن تتوافر لهم فرصة الاستماع إليهم إما مباشرة أو عبر ممثل لهم أو عبر هيئة مناسبة على نحو يتسق مع قواعد القانون الوطني الإجرائية سعياً وراء حصولهم على قرار فوري بشأن أيِّ احتجاز من هذا القبيل؛

(a) To ensure that children in police custody or pretrial or preventive detention can promptly appear before a court or tribunal to challenge that detention and that they have an opportunity to be heard either directly or through a representative or an appropriate body in a manner consistent with the procedural rules of national law, in order to obtain a prompt decision on any such action;
(أ) ضمان أن يكون بوسع الأطفال المحتجزين لدى الشرطة أو المحتجزين احتجازا سابقا لمحاكمتهم أو احتجازا احتياطيا أن يمثلوا فورا أمام محكمة أو هيئة تحكيمية لكي يعترضوا على هذا الاحتجاز وأن تتوافر لهم فرصة الاستماع إليهم إما مباشرة أو عبر ممثل لهم أو عبر هيئة مناسبة على نحو يتسق مع قواعد القانون الوطني الإجرائية سعيا وراء حصولهم على قرار فوري بشأن أي احتجاز من هذا القبيل؛

2. For this purpose the child shall in particular be provided the opportunity to be heard in any judicial and administrative proceedings affecting the child, either directly, or through a representative or an appropriate body, in a manner consistent with the procedural rules of national law. "

(ح) وضع تدابير لضمان سير الإجراءات القضائية والإدارية في جو موات وبأسلوب يسمح للأطفال بالتعبير عن أنفسهم مباشرة أو من خلال ممثل أو جهة ملائمة بما يتفق مع القواعد الإجرائية للقانون الوطني.
