For the purposes of this Convention:
لأغراض هذه الاتفاقية يُقصد بالتعابير التالية ما يلي:

The mechanism shall function under the authority, as appropriate, and guidance of, and be accountable to the Conference of the Parties for the purposes of this Convention.
وتعمل الآلية تحت سلطة وتوجيه مؤتمر الأطراف، حسب الاقتضاء، وتكون مسؤولة أمامه لأغراض هذه الاتفاقية.

All handling of proscribed nuclear material except for such handling as necessary for the purposes of this Convention shall be prohibited.
وتحظر أي معالجة للمواد النووية المحظورة ما عدا تلك المعالجة الضرورية لأغراض هذه الاتفاقية.

" Local remedies shall be considered as not available for the purposes of this Convention:

“2. For the purposes of this Convention a contract is considered international if, at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the parties have their places of business in different States.

For the purposes of this Convention:
لأغراض هذه الاتفاقية:

2. Among those States Parties that have established illicit enrichment as an offence, such offence shall be considered an act of corruption for the purposes of this Convention.
2- على الدول الأطراف التي جرّمت الإثراء غير المشروع أن تعتبر ذلك الجرم فيما بينها فعل فساد لأغراض هذه الاتفاقية.()

Article 22 of the Hague Convention of 1 June 1970 on the recognition of divorces and legal separations authorizes contracting States, " from time to time, [to] declare that certain categories of persons having their nationality need not be considered their nationals for the purposes of this Convention " ;
