40. According to decision 13/COP.9, attachment, paragraph 21, the secretariat is to prepare a synthesis and preliminary analysis of the reports submitted by Parties and observers.

8 - وقامت الأمانة، بجمع وتوليف التقارير المقدمة من الأطراف والمراقبين والتقارير الخاصة بالمساهمات الإقليمية، وبإجراء تحليل أولي لهذه التقارير على أساس الأولويات المواضيعية التي حددتها الأطراف، بغية تقديمها للجنة.

In accordance with the terms of reference of the CRIC, contained in decision 11/COP.9, the secretariat shall prepare a synthesis and preliminary analysis of the reports submitted by Parties and observers to the regional meetings with a view to obtaining regional inputs to the discussions at the CRIC.
