Organization of Work 50. The Chairman said that, because of lack of time, he took it that the Committee wished to defer consideration of agenda item 117, Pattern of conferences, to the second part of the resumed fifty-third session.
٥٠ - الرئيس: قال إنه نظرا لضيق الوقت، يعتقد أن اللجنة ترغب في إرجاء النظر في البند ١١٧ من جدول اﻷعمال، خطة المؤتمرات، إلى الجزء الثاني من الدورة الثالثة والخمسين المستأنفة.

6. The Chairman said that he would take it that, owing to time constraints, the Committee wished to defer consideration of procurement reform to the second part of the resumed fifty-third session of the General Assembly.

26. The Group of 77 and China hoped that the item would receive priority attention during the first part of the resumed fifty-third session so that the Committee could adopt a decision that took fully into account the concerns of the developing countries.
٢٦ - واستطرد قائلا إن مجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ والصين تأمل في أن يلقى هذا البند اهتماما على سبيل اﻷولوية خلال الجزء اﻷول من الدورة الثالثة والخمسين المستأنفة لكي تتمكن اللجنة من اتخاذ مقرر يأخذ في الاعتبار الكامل شواغل البلدان النامية.

7. Mr. Barnwell (Guyana), speaking on behalf of the Group of 77 and China, said that the Secretary-General’s reformulated proposals on the use of the development dividend should be examined in detail with a view to reaching agreement at the current part of the resumed fifty-third session.
٧ - السيد بارنويل )غيانا(: تكلم باسم مجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ والصين فقال إنه يجب النظر بالتفصيل في مقترحات اﻷمين العام التي أعيدت صياغتها بشأن استخدام عائد التنمية، وذلك بهدف التوصل إلى اتفاق في أثناء الجزء الحالي من الدورة الثالثة والخمسين المستأنفة.

57. The Chairman thanked delegations for their support and cooperation in his efforts to foster consensus and avoid night and weekend meetings, expressed his gratitude to the secretary of the Committee and to the staff of the Secretariat and declared that the Fifth Committee had concluded its work at the second part of the resumed fifty-third session of the General Assembly.
