The Committee recommends that the State party take the necessary measures to introduce legislation for the protection of the rights of refugee children, in line with the relevant international standards, and to develop a family reunification procedure to assist refugee children who might be separated from their families.
387- وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف باتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لوضع تشريع لحماية حقوق الأطفال اللاجئين طبقا للمعايير الدولية ذات الصلة، وبوضع إجراءات لجمع شمل الأسر تساعد الأطفال اللاجئين الذين قد يتم فصلهم عن أسرهم.

75. the rights of refugee children continued to be promoted through strengthened inter-agency cooperation, increased field support, training and the pilot project on gender and age mainstreaming, as well as Action for the Rights of the Child activities.

The Committee notes with concern that the State party does not give identification documents to refugees and their children and that the rights of refugee children are not specifically protected by law, notwithstanding the fact that the State party has signed the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees and has acceded to the 1967 Protocol.

Security concerns, insufficient human and financial resources, inadequate law enforcement systems to redress child rights violations and, in certain cases, States' unwillingness to comply with international standards continue to hamper the protection and safeguarding of the rights of refugee children, including those who are unaccompanied or separated.
ذلك أن شواغل الأمن، وعدم كفاية الموارد البشرية والمالية، وعدم ملاءمة نظم إنفاذ القوانين للتصدي لانتهاك حقوق الطفل، وفي بعض الحالات، عدم استعداد الدول للامتثال للمعايير الدولية، لا تزال تعوق حماية حقوق الأطفال اللاجئين وصونها، بمن فيهم الأطفال غير المصحوبين أو المنفصلين عن ذويهم(18).
