وسلم المؤتمر بضرورة القيام بالمزيد من العمل لتحديد نُهج الرصد والتقييم المناسبة على المستويين الوطني والعالمي، ودعا الأطراف إلى أن تقدم إلى الأمانة، بحلول 15 آب/أغسطس 2008، معلومات عن تجاربها في مجال الرصد والتقييم على المستوى الوطني، لكي تنظر فيها الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ في دورتها التاسعة والعشرين.

The COP also requested the secretariat25 to convene a meeting, before its fourteenth session, to discuss experiences in using performance indicators for monitoring and evaluation of capacity-building at the national level, and it further requested the secretariat to prepare a report on the outcome of this meeting for consideration by the SBI at its twenty-ninth session.
44- وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف أيضاً إلى الأمانة() عقد اجتماع، قبل انعقاد دورته الرابعة عشرة، لمناقشة تجارب استخدام مؤشرات الأداء لرصد وتقييم بناء القدرات على الصعيد الوطني، وطلب إلى الأمانة كذلك إعداد تقرير عن نتيجة هذا الاجتماع لكي تنظر فيه الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ في دورتها التاسعة والعشرين.
