As part of its programme to execute comprehensive policies and programmes for the protection of life, health and property against the effects of ionizing radiation, the Authority regularly participates in the activities of the Scientific Committee by providing occupation exposure data of radiation workers.
وكجزء من برنامجها المتعلق بتنفيذ السياسات والبرامج الشاملة الهادفة لحماية الأرواح والصحة والممتلكات من آثار الإشعاع المؤين، تشارك الهيئة بصورة منتظمة في أعمال اللجنة العلمية من خلال تقديم بيانات عن آثار تعرض العاملين في مجال الطاقة الذرية للإشعاع بحكم مهنتهم.

7. Expresses its appreciation for the assistance rendered to the Scientific Committee by Member States, the specialized agencies, the International Atomic Energy Agency and non-governmental organizations, and invites them to increase their cooperation in this field;
٧ - تعرب عن تقديرها للدول اﻷعضاء والوكالات المتخصصة والوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية والمنظمات غير الحكومية لما تقدمه من مساعدة إلى اللجنة العلمية وتدعوها إلى زيادة تعاونها في هذا الميدان؛

3. The General Assembly established the Scientific Committee by its resolution 913 (X) of 3 December 1955 to undertake broad scientific reviews of the sources of ionizing radiation and its effects on human health and the environment.
3 - وكانت الجمعية العامة قد أنشأت اللجنة العلمية بقرارها 913 (د - 10) المؤرخ 3 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1955 لكي تجري استعراضات علمية واسعة النطاق لمصادر الإشعاع المؤيِّن وآثاره على صحة الإنسان وعلى البيئة.
