At the least it can be said that the municipal jurisprudence is not inimical to the principle of survival. The general principle was supported in the decision of the Scottish court of Session in Masinimport v. Scottish Mechanical Light Industries Ltd. (1976).

The matter is sub judice, and all parties should accept and abide by the opinions of the Scottish court sitting in the Netherlands with respect to all matters pertaining to procedure, evidence, witnesses or compensation.
