2. Decides, pursuant to decision 123 and article 40 of the Rules, to approve the revised recommended awards concerning the claims covered in the second special report.

5. Decides further that the revised and corrected total awards per instalment, based on the recommendations contained in annexes I to IV of the second special report, are as follows:

16. Requests the Executive Secretary to provide a copy of the second special report to the Secretary-General, to the Government of the Republic of Iraq and to each respective Government.

23. The recommendations made by the mission to the Security Council are informed not only by its visit to the countries of the region but also by the second special report of the Secretary-General of 27 May 2003 (S/2003/566).

the second special report, on managing risks of extreme events and disasters to advance climate change adaptation, found that some extremes had changed owing to anthropogenic activities but that the severity of climate change impacts also depended on the level of exposure and vulnerability; it examined the range of economic, social, cultural, geographic, governmental and other factors that were crucial to preparedness and adaptation.
ووجَد التقرير الخاص الثاني بشأن إدارة مخاطر الظواهر المتطرفة والكوارث لتعزيز عملية التكيف مع التغير المناخي، أن بعض الظواهر المتطرفة تغيرت بسبب الأنشطة الاصطناعية، وإن كانت شدة تأثيرات التغير المناخي اعتمدت أيضاً على مستوي التعرض وموطِن الضَعْف؛ وبحثَ التقرير طائفة من العوامل الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية والجغرافية، والحكومية وغيرها من العوامل ذات الأهمية الحاسمة بالنسبة للتأهب وللتكيف.

The Council also noted with appreciation the recommendations contained in the second special report of the Secretary-General on MONUC of 27 May 2003 (S/2003/566 and Corr.1) and authorized an increase in the military strength of MONUC to 10,800 personnel.

The Security Council resumed its consideration of the item at its 4780th meeting, held on 26 June 2003 in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations, having before it the second special report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (S/2003/566 and Corr.1).

In a note verbale dated 15 September 1998, the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations, on behalf of the European Union, transmitted to the Chairman of the Committee the second special report from the European Community Monitoring Mission containing its observations pertaining to the Albania/Kosovo border.
وفي مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٨، أحالت البعثة الدائمة للنمسا لدى اﻷمم المتحدة، باسم الاتحاد اﻷوروبي، إلى رئيس اللجنة التقرير الثاني الخاص لبعثة الرصد التابعة للجماعة اﻷوروبية، وتضمﱠن التقرير ملاحظاتها بشأن الحالة على الحدود بين ألبانيا وكوسوفو.
