The present note, prepared jointly by the interim secretariat of the Convention and the secretariat of the GEF, describes the manner in which the GEF will make arrangements for funding enabling activities and preparations for the national communications, as well as the way in which the interim secretariat will facilitate this process.
٤ - تصف هذه المذكرة التي أعدتها اﻷمانة المؤقتة للاتفاقية بالاشتراك مع أمانة مرفق البيئة العالمية الطريقة التي سيقوم بها مرفق البيئة العالمية بوضع ترتيبات لتمويل أنشطة التمكين ولﻷعمال التحضيرية ﻹعداد البلاغات الوطنية فضلا عن الطريقة التي ستقوم بها اﻷمانة المؤقتة بتسهيل هذه العملية.

77 - وبشأن السؤال الذي وجهه الوفد الإيراني، يلاحظ أن المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة قد أشار إلى أن البرنامج يضطلع بالتعاون مع أمانة مرفق البيئة العالمية فيما يتصل بإنجاز مذكرة للتفاهم بين أمانة اتفاقية مكافحة التصحر ومجلس المرفق.

The meeting included a series of discussions on the main issues relating to the preparation and implementation of NAPAs, drawing on the work of the LEG and inputs provided by the secretariat of the GEF and its agencies as well as experiences and insights from LDC Parties.
11- وضم الاجتماع سلسلة من المناقشات للقضايا الرئيسية المتعلقة بإعداد وتنفيذ برامج العمل الوطنية للتكيف، استندت إلى أعمال فريق الخبراء المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً وإسهامات أمانة مرفق البيئة العالمية ووكالاته، فضلاً عن خبرات ورؤى الأطراف من أقل البلدان نمواً.

30- أحاطت الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ علماً بالوثيقة FCCC/SBI/2006/INF.5، ورحبّت بالمعلومات التي قدمتها أمانة مرفق البيئة العالمية عن الدعم المالي المقدم إلى الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول للاتفاقية من أجل إعداد بلاغاتها الوطنية الأولية واللاحقة.

The SBI also requested the LEG to consult, through the secretariat, on input for this meeting from the secretariat of the GEF and its implementing agencies, and to report on the outcomes of the meeting to the SBI at its twenty-seventh session.
85- كما طلبت الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ من فريق الخبراء أن يتشاور، عن طريق الأمانة، بشأن تقديم مساهمات لهذا الاجتماع من أمانة مرفق البيئة العالمية ووكالاتها المنفِذة، وأن يقدم تقريراً عن نتائج الاجتماع إلى الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ في دورتها السابعة والعشرين.

An annex on the determination of funding necessary and available, in accordance with Article 11.3 (d) of the Convention has been prepared by the Convention secretariat and the secretariat of the GEF and will be considered by the SBI at its third session.
وقد أعدت أمانة الاتفاقية وأمانة مرفق البيئة العالمية مرفقا يتعلق بتجديد التمويل اللازم والمتوافر، وفقا للفقرة ٣)د( من المادة ١١ من الاتفاقية وستنظر فيه الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ في دورتها الثالثة.
