Having considered the recommendations of the Secretary-General contained in his report of 1 November 1999 (S/1999/1116),

1. Endorses the proposals of the Secretary-General contained in his report; 1/

33. In its resolution 63/269, the General Assembly approved the proposal of the Secretary-General, contained in his report on information and communications technology, disaster recovery and business continuity for the United Nations (A/63/743), to establish a new secondary data centre for United Nations Headquarters to replace the existing centre in the DC2 Building in New York.

1. Welcomes the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report to renew the mandate of the joint participation of the United Nations with the Organization of American States in the International Civilian Mission to Haiti, with the tasks of:

The draft would extend the mandate of MINUGUA for an additional period of six months, until 18 March 1996, in accordance with the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report of 12 August last.
ومشروع القرار سيؤدي الى تمديد ولاية بعثة اﻷمم المتحدة للتحقق من حالة حقـــوق الانسان ومن الامتثال للالتزامات الواردة في الاتفاق الشامل بشأن حقوق اﻹنسان في غواتيمالا لفترة ستة أشهر أخرى، أي حتى ١٨ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٦، وفقا لتوصية اﻷمين العام الواردة في تقريره الصادر

On 28 May, the Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 1170 (1998), by which it established an ad hoc working group to review the recommendations of the Secretary-General contained in his report on Africa relating to the maintenance of international peace and security.

The disposition of the assets of peacekeeping operations is guided by the proposals of the Secretary-General contained in his report of 25 May 1994 (A/48/945 and Corr.1), and the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions contained in its report of 18 November 1994 (A/49/664 and Add.1).

The disposition of the assets of peacekeeping operations is guided by the proposals of the Secretary-General contained in his report of 25 May 1994 (A/48/945 and Corr.1, para. 110) and the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in its report of 18 November 1994 (A/49/664 and Add.1).

By resolution 1131 (1997), the Security Council, inter alia, decided to extend the mandate of MINURSO until 20 October 1997, in accordance with the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report. (For the full text of resolution 1131 (1997), see appendix V.)

206. In its resolution 1980/13 of 28 April 1980, the Council endorsed the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report (E/1980/11 and Corr.1, para. 52) that, since the Group of Experts on Tax Treaties between Developed and Developing Countries had finalized the United Nations Model Double Taxation Convention between Developed and Developing Countries, it should be given a broader title.
٢٠٦ - وفي قراره ٠٨٩١/٣١ المؤرخ في ٨٢ نيسان/ابريل ٠٨٩١، أيد المجلس توصية اﻷمين العام الواردة في تقريره )E/1980/11 وCorr.1، الفقرة ٢٥( بأنه نظرا ﻷن فريق الخبراء المعني بالمعاهدات الضريبية بين البلدان المتقدمة النمو والبلدان النامية قد أنجز اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة النموذجية للازدواج الضريبي بين البلدان المتقدمة النمو والبلدان النامية، فينبغي أن يعطى الفريق تسمية أوسع.

Its mandate has been extended by subsequent resolutions, the latest of which was resolution 1133 (1997) of 20 October 1997, by which the Council, inter alia, extended the Mission’s mandate until 20 April 1998, in order for it to proceed with its identification tasks and to increase its size in accordance with the recommendations of the Secretary-General contained in his report of 25 September 1997 (S/1997/742 and Add.1).

12. Paragraph 4 of document A/52/401/Add.2 outlines the proposals of the Secretary-General contained in his report (A/48/945 and Corr.1) and the recommendations of the Advisory Committee contained in its report (A/49/664/Add.1) to guide the disposition of assets of peacekeeping operations which were endorsed by the General Assembly in section VII of its resolution 49/233 A of 23 December 1994.

8. By its resolution 867 (1993) of 23 September 1993, the Security Council approved the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report of 21 September 1993 2/ and his report of 25 August 1993 1/ to authorize the establishment and immediate dispatch of UNMIH for a period of six months subject to the proviso that it would be extended beyond 75 days only upon a review by the Council.
٨ - وفي القرار ٨٦٧ )١٩٩٣( المؤرخ ٢٣ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣، وافق مجلس اﻷمن على توصية اﻷمين العام الواردة في تقريره المؤرخ ٢١ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣)٢( وفي تقريره المؤرخ ٢٥ آب/اغسطس ١٩٩٣)١( باﻹذن بإنشاء بعثة لﻷمم المتحدة في هايتي وإيفادها على الفور وذلك لفترة ستة أشهر شريطة ألا تمدد لفترة تزيد عن ٧٥ يوما إلا بعد استعراض يجريه المجلس.

Also taking note of the request of the parties regarding the immediate verification by the Mission of human rights aspects of the Agreement on Identity and Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the recommendation of the Secretary-General contained in his report on the Mission A/49/955. on resources required to allow the Mission to continue to fulfil its mandate, including verification activities relating to human rights aspects of the Agreement,
وإذ تحيط علما أيضا بطلب الطرفين أن تتحقق البعثة على الفور من الجوانب المتصلة بحقوق اﻹنسان من الاتفاق المتعلق بهوية وحقوق السكان اﻷصليين وبتوصية اﻷمين العام الواردة في تقريره عن البعثة )A/49/955( بشأن الموارد اللازمة لتمكين البعثة من مواصلة الاضطلاع بولايتها، بما في ذلك أنشطة التحقق من جوانب حقوق الانسان من الاتفاق المتعلق بهوية وحقوق السكان اﻷصليين،

وإذ تحيط علما أيضا بطلب الطرفين أن تتحقق البعثة على الفور من الجوانب المتصلة بحقوق اﻹنسان من الاتفاق المتعلق بهوية وحقوق السكان اﻷصليين وبتوصية اﻷمين العام الواردة في تقريره عن البعثة)٤( بشأن الموارد اللازمة لتمكين البعثة من مواصلة الاضطلاع بولايتها، بما في ذلك أنشطة التحقق من جوانب حقوق الانسان من الاتفاق،

10. In paragraph 8 of its resolution 61/274 of 29 June 2007, the General Assembly requested ICSC to advise it on the proposal of the Secretary-General contained in his report entitled " Comprehensive proposal on appropriate incentives to retain staff of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia " .
10 - طلبت الجمعية العامة في الفقرة 8 من قرارها 61/274 المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2007 إلى لجنة الخدمة المدنية الدولية أن تسدي إليها المشورة بشأن اقتراح الأمين العام الوارد في تقريره المعنون " اقتراح شامل بشأن الحوافز الملائمة للاحتفاظ بموظفي المحكمة الجنائية الدولية لرواندا والمحكمة الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة " ().

77. As indicated above, the General Assembly, in its resolution 63/269, approved the proposal of the Secretary-General contained in his report on ICT disaster recovery and business continuity for United Nations (A/63/743), to establish a new secondary data centre for United Nations Headquarters in New York to replace the existing secondary data centre in the DC2 Building.
77 - على النحو المشار إليه أعلاه، وافقت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 63/269 على اقتراح الأمين العام الوارد في تقريره عن استعادة القدرة على العمل بعد الكوارث واستمرارية تصريف الأعمال في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في الأمم المتحدة (A/63/743)، بشأن إنشاء مركز بيانات ثانوي جديد في نيويورك لمقر الأمم المتحدة ليحل محل مركز البيانات الثانوي الحالي في مبنى DC2.

Subsequently, pursuant to the request of the Secretary-General contained in his report on supplementary estimates for UNOCI (A/66/529), the Assembly, in its resolution 66/242 B, appropriated an additional amount of $159,235,000 gross, for a total appropriation of $645,961,400 gross ($634,457,100 net) for the maintenance of UNOCI for the period from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.

At its fifth special session, held in May 1998, the UNEP Governing Council decided to streamline and finalize the merger of UNEP administrative services with the United Nations Office at Nairobi in line with the original proposals of the Secretary-General contained in his report to the General Assembly at its forty-ninth session (A/49/336).
