Besides the projected downsizing of international and national staff and United Nations Volunteers for the period 2004/05, the proposed staffing structure of the Mission provides for the redeployment of six posts from the abolished Office of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Operations and Management.
22 - بجانب التقليص المتوقع لعدد الموظفين الدوليين والموظفين الوطنيين ومتطوعي الأمم المتحدة في الفترة 2004-2005 تضمن الهيكل الوظيفي المقترح للبعثة نقل ست وظائف من المكتب الملغي لنائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام لشؤون العمليات والإدارة.

The Committee notes that the functional title of the P-5 post in the abolished Office of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Operations and Management was Special Assistant to the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General in charge of management issues, and that the new functional title of the post would be the same.
تلاحظ اللجنة أن اللقب الوظيفي للوظيفة من الرتبة ف - 5 في المكتب الملغي لنائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام لشؤون العمليات والإدارة هو المساعد الخاص لنائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام لشؤون العمليات والإدارة وأن اللقب الوظيفي الجديد للوظيفة سيظل كما هو.

46. For the Office of the Director of Administration a total of 11 new posts are requested (1 P-4, 2 P-3, 1 P-2 and 7 General Service). The Committee stresses the need for streamlining and avoiding duplication, especially as concerns the relationship of this office with the Office of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Operations and Management.

Accordingly, the post of Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Operations and Management was downgraded from the Assistant Secretary-General level to the D-2 level, for the Chief Administrative Officer (see A/57/772/Add.3, para. 23); therefore, the only remaining Assistant Secretary-General post in the Mission is that of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Governance and Stabilization.
وتبعا لذلك فقد تم خفض مستوى وظيفة الأمين العام المساعد التي كان يشغلها نائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام لشؤون العمليات والإدارة من رتبة الأمين العام المساعد إلى الرتبة مد - 2 ليشغلها كبير الموظفين الإداريين (A/57/772/Add.3) ولذلك فإن الوظيفة الوحيدة المتبقية من رتبة الأمين العام المساعد للبعثة هي وظيفة نائب الممثل الخاص للأمين العام لشؤون الحكم وتحقيق الاستقرار.
