44. The problems with the delivery of summary records had persisted for too long. His delegation welcomed the options proposed in the report of the Secretary-General on reform of the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (A/59/172). The relevant provisions of the draft resolution proposed by the Committee on Conferences could also provide a way forward.
