1. The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions has considered the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships (A/53/700 and Add.1) submitted pursuant to General Assembly decision 52/466 of 31 March 1998.

Mr. Silva (United Nations Fund for International Partnerships), introducing the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships (A/60/327), said that the report was indicative of an evolving partnership with the United Nations Foundation and of United Nations engagement with the private sector.

The Chairman suggested that the Secretariat should prepare for the Committee's consideration a draft decision stating that the Committee recommended that the General Assembly should take note of the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships (A/57/133) and that it endorsed the comments made by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (A/57/7/Add.6).

The Chairman said he took it that the Committee, having considered the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships, wished to adopt the following draft decision: " The General Assembly takes note of the report of the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships (A/60/327) " .
90 - الرئيس: قال إنه يعتبر أن اللجنة، بعد أن نظرت في تقرير الأمين العام عن صندوق الأمم المتحدة للشراكات الدولية، ترغب في اعتماد مشروع المقرر التالي: " تحيط الجمعية العامة علما بتقرير صندوق الأمم المتحدة للشراكات الدولية (A/60/327) " .

On the proposal of the Chairman, the Committee agreed that the Secretariat prepare, for the consideration of the Committee, a draft decision that would recommend that the General Assembly take note of the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships, contained in document A/57/133 and concur with the observations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions thereon A/57/7/Add.6.
وبناء على اقتراح الرئيس، وافقت اللجنة على أن تعد الأمانة العامة مشروع مقرر، لتنظر فيه اللجنة، يوصي بأن تحيط الجمعية العامة علما بتقرير الأمين العام عن صندوق الأمم المتحدة للشراكات الدولية الوارد في الوثيقة A/57/133 ، وأن تؤيد الملاحظات التي أبدتها اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية بهذا الشأن (A/57/7/Add.6).
