1. the seventh inter-committee meeting of the human rights treaty bodies was held at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) at Geneva from 23 to 25 June 2008.

The chairpersons called upon the human rights treaty bodies to follow up on those recommendations and to report on their implementation at the seventh inter-committee meeting in 2008.

They also recommended that the experiences of each committee implementing the guidelines should be reviewed at the seventh inter-committee meeting in 2008 (A/61/385).
وأوصوا أيضاً بتحليل تجارب كل اللجان في تطبيق المبادئ التوجيهية، وذلك أثناء الاجتماع السابع المشترك بين اللجان في عام 2٠٠8 (A/61/385).

The NGO representatives requested that the seventh inter-committee meeting consider the following issues as priorities in order to enhance the effectiveness of human rights treaty monitoring bodies and improve NGO contributions to the treaty bodies' procedures:
