ونرحب بالنتيجة الناجحة للمؤتمر الاستعراضي السادس للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية حظر استحداث وإنتاج وتخزين الأسلحة البكتريولوجية (البيولوجية) والتكسينية وتدمير تلك الأسلحة، المعقود في جنيف في العام الماضي.

The Final Report of the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction (BWC/CONF.VI/6), in the section on decisions and recommendations, contained the following decision:
1- تضمّنت الوثيقة الختامية للمؤتمر الاستعراضي السادس للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية حظر استحداث وإنتاج وتكديس الأسلحة البكتريولوجية (البيولوجية) والتكسينية وتدمير تلك الأسلحة (BWC/CONF.VI/6)، في الفقرة 61 من الإعلان الختامي، المقرر التالي:

إننا نقترب من موعد انعقاد المؤتمر الاستعراضي السادس للدول الأطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية.

With respect to the BWC, we reaffirm our commitment to build upon the momentum created at the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties and to make further progress towards the seventh Review Conference.

The draft is shorter and more succinct compared to last year's effort, which reflects the fact that we are in the calm and productive intersessional period of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention and our focus is on concrete issues as laid out by the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties.

16. An UNMOVIC expert is attending the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties to the Biological Weapons Convention, being held in Geneva from 20 November to 8 December.
16 - ويحضر حاليا خبير من اللجنة المؤتمر الاستعراضي السادس للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية في جنيف والذي يستمر من 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر إلى 8 كانون الأول/ديسمبر.

15. The Islamic Republic of Iran, in a positive response to the invitation of the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties, has lent its unreserved support for the early establishment of a zone free of nuclear weapons, and has spared no effort to achieve this invaluable objective.
15 - استجابة لدعوة المؤتمر الاستعراضي السادس للدول الأطراف، أيدت جمهورية إيران الإسلامية بلا تحفظ إنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية مبكراً ولم تدخر جهدا لتحقيق هذا الهدف القيِّم.

An UNMOVIC expert attended the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties to the Biological Weapons Convention, held at Geneva from 20 November to 8 December 2006.
وحضر خبير من لجنة الرصد والتحقق والتفتيش مؤتمر الاستعراض السادس للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية الذي عقد في جنيف في الفترة من 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر إلى 8 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006.

At the same time, Member States continued to be optimistic in the light of the Sixth Review Conference of the States Parties to the Biological Weapons Convention, which is being held from 20 November to 8 December in Geneva.
