2- إذا ما استطاع المشاركون في المشروع أن يقدموا معلومات كافية تبين أنه، في غياب نشاط المشروع الصغير للتحريج أو إعادة التحريج في إطار آلية التنمية النظيفة، لا يتوقع أن تحدث تغيرات هامة في كميات الكربون المخزونة في حدود المشروع، فسيتعين عليهم أن يقيموا كميات الكربون المخزنة فعلاً قبل تنفيذ نشاط المشروع.
