Nevertheless, the Committee is concerned that human trafficking, including of children, has increasingly become a problem in the State party and that there are reports of children being taken across the border and used for transportation of goods and prostitution.

1420. The Committee expresses grave concern that corporal punishment is still widely practised in the State party and that domestic legislation does not prohibit its use.

122. The Committee takes note of the fact that the Convention is self—executing within the State party and that its provisions may be invoked before the courts.

The Committee welcomes the information that the Convention is incorporated into the domestic law of the State party and that international law prevails over domestic law in the State party.
7- وترحب اللجنة بما ورد إليها من معلومات تفيد بأن أحكام الاتفاقية أدمجت في القانون المحلي للدولة الطرف وبأن للقانون الدولي الأسبقية فيها على القانون المحلي.

165. While the Committee notes that a juvenile justice system has been established within the State party and that reforms are envisaged in this regard, it remains concerned about:

161. The Committee is concerned that corporal punishment is widely practised in the State party and that, in particular, it is used in the sentencing of boys under the age of 17 by domestic courts.
161- يقلق اللجنة أن العقوبة البدنية تطبق على نطاق واسع في الدولة الطرف وأنها ترد، بوجه خاص، في الأحكام العقابية التي تصدر عن المحاكم المحلية بحق الأولاد دون سن السابعة عشرة.

While noting information provided by the delegation on the existence of a drug abuse centre, the Committee is concerned at the lack of information and data on the level of drug abuse and alcohol consumption in the State party and that these practices are not prohibited.

78. The Committee expresses grave concern that corporal punishment is still widely practised within the State party and that domestic legislation does not prohibit its use within schools, the family, the juvenile justice and alternative care systems and generally within the society.
78- وتعرب اللجنة عن قلقها البالغ لكون العقوبة البدنية لا تزال تستخدم على نطاق واسع داخل الدولة الطرف ولكون التشريعات المحلية لا تحظر استخدامها في المدرسة والأسرة ونظام قضاء الأحداث ونظم الرعاية البديلة وفي المجتمع بشكل عام.
