Until the level of outstanding assessed contribution is reduced, the Secretary-General recommends that the surplus of $5,109,799, which otherwise would have to be surrendered as credits to Member States, be entered into the suspense account established pursuant to General Assembly resolution 33/13 E of 14 December 1978.
وإلى أن ينخفض مستوى الاشتراكات المقررة غير المسددة، يوصي اﻷمين العام بأن يدرج، في الحساب المعلق المنشأ عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة ٣٣/١٣ هاء المؤرخ ١٤ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٧٨ الفائض البالغ ٧٩٩ ١٠٩ ٥ دولارا، الذي كان سيتعين خلافا لذلك قيده لحساب الدول اﻷعضاء.

In keeping with Assembly resolution 53/226, the Secretary-General proposed to credit back to Member States during the current session of the Assembly an amount of $4,022,162, representing part of the remaining balance held in the suspense account for the Force.
وتمشيا مع القرار 53/226، يقترح الأمين العام إعادة مبلغ 162 022 4 دولارا إلى الدول الأعضاء خلال الدورة الجارية للجمعية، وهو مبلغ يشكل جزءا من الرصيد المتبقي المحتفظ به في الحساب المعلق للقوة.

As the Committee would recall, in the case of UNDOF the General Assembly had in the past followed the procedure of transferring the surplus balance to the suspense account in order to facilitate operations, instead of crediting those amounts to Member States.
وينبغي ألا يغيب عن اﻷذهان أن الجمعية العامة كانت قد اعتمدت في الماضي، في حالة قوة اﻷمم المتحدة لمراقبة فض الاشتباك، ترتيب نقل الفوائض إلى الحساب المعلق بغية تيسير العمليات بدل قيدها لحساب الدول اﻷعضاء.

So far, the suspense account established in accordance with General Assembly resolution 34/9 D has not achieved its purpose of alleviating the financial burden on troop contributors.

29. Taking into account the current cash position of UNDOF, and the anticipated assessed contributions to be received and the mission's projected monthly cash requirements for the period, the Secretary-General proposes to credit back to Member States during the fifty-fifth session of the General Assembly, an amount of $4,000,000, representing the remaining balance held in the suspense account of UNDOF.
29 - وبالنظر إلى حالة السيولة الراهنة لقوة الأمم المتحدة لمراقبة فض الاشتباك والاشتراكات المقدرة المتوقع تحصيلها والاحتياجات النقدية الشهرية المتوقعة للقوة في هذه الفترة، يقترح الأمين العام إعادة مبلغ قدره 000 000 4 دولار إلى الدول الأعضاء خلال الدورة الخامسة والخمسين للجمعية العامة. وهذا المبلغ هو الرصيــد المتبقي المودع في الحساب المعلّق للقوة.
