This article provides that, as from the date of the succession of States, treaties of the successor State are in force in respect of the territory to which the succession of States relates, while treaties of the predecessor State cease to be in force in respect of that territory.
وتنص هذه المادة على أنه، اعتباراً من تاريخ خلافة الدول، يبدأ نفاذ معاهدات الدولة الخلف إزاء الإقليم الذي تتناوله خلافة الدول، بينما ينقضي نفاذ معاهدات الدولة السلف إزاء هذا الإقليم.

(g) " Date of the succession of States " means the date upon which the successor State replaced the predecessor State in the responsibility for the international relations of the territory to which the succession of States relates.
(ز) يراد بمصطلح " تاريخ خلافة الدول " التاريخ الذي حلت فيه الدولة الخلف محل الدولة السلف في المسؤولية عن العلاقات الدولية للإقليم الذي تتعلق به خلافة الدول.

(g) “date of the succession of States” means the date upon which the successor State replaced the predecessor State in the responsibility for the international relations of the territory to which the succession of States relates.
(ز) يراد بمصطلح " تاريخ خلافة الدول " التاريخ الذي حلت فيه الدولة الخلف محل الدولة السلف في المسؤولية عن العلاقات الدولية للإقليم الذي تتعلق به خلافة الدول.
