The paragraph provides that the Convention will enter into force on " the first day of the month following the expiration of six months after the deposit of the third instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession. "
فتنصّ الفقرة على أن الاتفاقية يبدأ نفاذها " في اليوم الأول من الشهر الذي يعقب انقضاء ستة أشهر على تاريخ إيداع الصك الثالث من صكوك التصديق أو القبول أو الإقرار أو الانضمام " .

A six-month period from the date of deposit of the third instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession is provided so as to give States that become Parties to the Convention sufficient time to notify all the national organisations and individuals concerned that a Convention which would affect them would soon enter into force.
