These problems have not inconsiderable practical repercussions. Furthermore, the provisions concerning reservations of the three Vienna Conventions on the law of treaties contain numerous other ambiguities and gaps that are the source of difficulties for States and international organizations, particularly (but not exclusively) when acting as depositaries.
