ولذلك السبب، دأبت ميانمار على تقديم مشاريع قرارات شاملة إلى اللجنة الأولى في العقد الماضي، تطلب إلى الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية القيام بالتخفيض التدريجي للخطر النووي، بغية تحقيق القضاء التام على هذه الأسلحة.

To call upon the nuclear-weapon States to continue carrying out legally binding agreements for further reductions of their nuclear weapons in a irreversible, transparent and verifiable way, with a view to achieving the total elimination of these weapons in a specific period of time.
3 - يدعو الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية إلى مواصلة إبرام اتفاقات ملزمة قانونا لإجراء مزيد من التخفيضات لأسلحتها النووية على نحو لا رجعة فيه وبطريقة شفافة يمكن التحقق منها، بغية تحقيق القضاء التام على هذه الأسلحة في فترة محددة من الزمن؛

Consequently, we are prepared to sign a comprehensive nuclear-test-ban treaty contributing to the sole objective of the total elimination of these weapons in future.
ومن ثم، فإننا مستعدون لتوقيع معاهدة للحظر الشامل للتجارب النووية تُسهم في تحقيق الهدف الفذ المتمثل في اﻹزالة التامة لهذه اﻷسلحة في المستقبل.

The only real solution is the total elimination of these weapons and the irrevocable prohibition of their existence.
