VIII. PARTICIPATION OF the United Nations Environment Programme in the WORK OF THE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT FACILITY

4. Requests the Executive Director to further develop the work of the United Nations Environment Programme in the area of cooperation with business and industry and to keep Governments informed of further progress in that regard.

III. PLAN OF IMPLEMENTATION ADOPTED BY THE WORLD SUMMIT ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND THE RESPONSE BY the United Nations Environment Programme in the CHEMICALS AREA
ثالثاً - خطة التنفيذ التي اعتمدتها القمة العالمية المعنية بالتنمية المستدامة واستجابة برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة في ميدان المواد الكيميائية

1. Expresses its appreciation of the contribution made by the United Nations Environment Programme in the implementation of the Barbados Programme of Action on Small Island Developing States;
1 - يعرب عن تقديره للمساهمة التي قدمها برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة في تنفيذ برنامج عمل بربادوس بشأن الدول الجزرية النامية الصغيرة؛

3. Supports the active participation by the United Nations Environment Programme in the preparatory process for the Third World Water Forum, to be held in Japan in March 2003;

19. Notes that the proposed appropriation of Environment Fund resources in the biennium 2002-2003 in the amount of $14.87 million for the biennial support budget is conditional on an increase in funding from the United Nations regular budget for the United Nations Office at Nairobi and/or the United Nations Environment Programme in the biennium 2002-2003;
