A future pamphlet on the work of national institutions and the promotion and protection of the rights of persons belonging to minorities is to be included in the United Nations Guide for Minorities (see paragraph 34 below).

19. The aim of the United Nations Guide for Minorities is to assist minorities in understanding how to seek protection of their rights through the different procedures existing at the international and regional levels.

11. Additionally, the Working Group will have before it a paper on the work of the independent expert on minorities issues for future inclusion in revised versions of the United Nations Guide for Minorities (E/CN.4/Sub.2/AC.5/2006/6).
