Convinced that the maintenance and further strengthening of cooperation between the United Nations system and the League of Arab States contribute to the promotion of the purposes and principles of the United Nations,
واقتناعا منها بأن استمرار التعاون بين منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية وزيادة تعزيزه يسهمان في دعم مقاصد اﻷمم المتحدة ومبادئها،

112. In the course of their deliberations, the representatives of the organizations of the United Nations system and the League and its specialized organizations undertook a critical review and appraisal of progress in cooperation.
١١٢ - وخلال المداولات، أجرى ممثلو مؤسسات ووكالات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية ومنظماتها المتخصصة استعراضا وتقييما تمحيصيين للتقدم المحرز في مجال التعاون.

4. The Assembly recommended that the next general meeting on cooperation between the representatives of the secretariats of the United Nations system and the League of Arab States and its specialized organizations should be held during 1995.
٤ - وأوصت الجمعية العامة بأن يعقد خلال عام ١٩٩٥ الاجتماع العام القادم المعني بالتعاون بين ممثلي أمانات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية ومنظماتها المتخصصة.

ثالثا - الاجتمــاع القطاعــي بيــن مؤسســات ووكـالات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية بشأن تنمية الموارد البشرية في المناطق الريفية

3. The General Assembly decided that, in order to intensify cooperation and for the purpose of review and appraisal of progress, as well as to prepare comprehensive periodic reports, a general meeting between the United Nations system and the League of Arab States should take place once every two years, and inter-agency sectoral meetings should be organized annually on areas of priority and wide importance in the development of the Arab States.
٣ - وقررت الجمعية العامة، من أجل تكثيف التعاون وبغرض استعراض وتقييم التقدم وإعداد تقارير دورية شاملة، عقد اجتماع عام مرة كل سنتين بين منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية، وعقد اجتماعات قطاعية مشتركة بين وكالاتهما سنويا بشأن المجالات ذات اﻷولوية وذات اﻷهمية الكبيرة في تنمية الدول العربية.

5. Expresses its appreciation to the organizational entities of the United Nations system and the League of Arab States and its specialized organizations for their contributions leading to the success of the sectoral meeting on human resources development in rural areas;
٥ - تعرب عن تقديرها للكيانات التنظيمية لمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية ومنظماتها المتخصصة ﻹسهاماتها التي أدت إلى نجاح الاجتماع القطاعي بشأن تنمية الموارد البشرية في المناطق الريفية؛
