12. There shall be established a reserve fund within the UNOPS Account to cover potential liabilities in respect of operations of the Office.
١٢ - ينشأ صندوق احتياطي في إطار حساب المكتب لتغطية الخصوم المحتملة فيما يتصل بعمليات المكتب.

Expenditures chargeable to the UNOPS Account are related to the UNOPS administrative budget, as approved by the Executive Board, and are incurred provided sufficient amounts are available in the UNOPS income so that the self-financing principle is maintained.
وتتعلق النفقات التي تخصم من حساب المكتب بالميزانية الإدارية للمكتب، بالصيغة التي أقرها المجلس التنفيذي، ويجري تكبدها شريطة توافر مبالغ كافية في إيرادات المكتب بحيث يتسنى الثبات على مبدأ التمويل الذاتي.

(a) The unspent income transferred to the UNOPS Account on 1 January 1995 shall be the basis for the establishment of the UNOPS Reserve;
)أ( تكون الايرادات غير المنفقة والمحولة الى حساب المكتب في ١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٥ اﻷساس ﻹنشاء صندوق احتياطي للمكتب.

(b) Increases and/or replenishment to the Reserve shall be drawn from accumulated unspent income in the UNOPS Account. Management of funds
)ب( تُسحب الزيادات التي تضاف لصندوق الاحتياطي و/أو الموارد اللازمة لتغذيته من الايرادات غير المنفقة المتراكمة في حساب المكتب.

Article VIII. the UNOPS Account AND OTHER ACCOUNTS
المادة الثامنة - حساب مكتب خدمات المشاريع والحسابات اﻷخرى

Regulation 8.4: Separate accounts shall be maintained for all reserves within the UNOPS Account.
البند ٨-٤: تمسك حسابات منفصلة لجميع الاحتياطيات في إطار حساب مكتب خدمات المشاريع.

Regulation 7.4: At the end of the 12-month period provided in Regulation 7.3 above, the then remaining balance of any appropriations retained will revert to the UNOPS Account.
البند ٧-٤: في نهاية فترة اﻟ ١٢ شهرا المنصوص عليها في البند ٧-٣ أعلاه، يعاد إلى حساب مكتب خدمات المشاريع الرصيد الباقي في هذا الوقت من أي اعتمادات كانت مستبقاة.

(a) The " UNOPS account " , to which all of the income to UNOPS derived from its services are credited and against which all UNOPS administrative expenditures are charged;
)أ( " حساب مكتب خدمات المشاريع " وتضاف إليه جميع إيرادات المكتب المتأتية من خدماته وتخصم منه جميع النفقات اﻹدارية للمكتب؛

(g) " operational costs " shall mean the costs against the UNOPS Account of UNOPS activities for the provision of management, technical, administrative, financial and logistical support;
)ز( يعني مصطلح " تكاليف التشغيل " التكاليف التي تحمل على حساب مكتب خدمات المشاريع فيما يتعلق باﻷنشطـة التـي يضطلـع بها المكتب لتوفير الدعم في مجال الادارة، والدعم التقني واﻹداري والمالي والسوقي؛

Since actual expenditures in the third category cannot be known at this time, any funds not expended will revert to the UNOPS Account.
وحيث أنه لا يمكن في الوقت الراهن معرفة النفقات الفعلية في الفئة الثالثة، فإن أي أموال لم تنفق ستعاد إلى حساب مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة لخدمات المشاريع.
