At its 5th plenary meeting, on 5 March 2003, the Economic and Social Council decided to grant observer status with the Council to the Intergovernmental Institution for the Use of Micro-alga Spirulina against Malnutrition.
قرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، في جلسته العامة الخامسة المعقودة في 5 آذار/ مارس 2003، منح مركز المراقب لدى المجلس للمؤسسة الحكومية الدولية لاستخدام طحلب السبيرولينا الدقيق في مكافحة سوء التغذية.

Mr. MANINI (Intergovernmental Institution for the Use of Micro-alga Spirulina against Malnutrition) said that his organization was an intergovernmental institution established by treaty and had been accorded observer status by the United Nations.

قرر المجلس بموجب مقرره 2002/207، أن يدرج في جدول أعمال دورته الموضوعية لعام 2002 الطلب المقدم من منظمة حكومية دولية للحصول على مركز مراقب لدى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، وهذه المنظمة هي المؤسسة الحكومية الدولية لاستخدام طحلب السبيرولينا الدقيق في مكافحة سوء التغذية.
