24. In accordance with resolution 997 (1995), UNAMIR continued to assist the Government of Rwanda in facilitating the voluntary and safe return and resettlement of refugees and in promoting a climate of confidence and trust.
٤٢ - وعملا بالقرار ٩٩٧ )١٩٩٥(، واصلت البعثة مساعدة حكومة رواندا في تسهيل العودة الطوعية والمأمونة للاجئين وإعادة توطينهم، وفي إشاعة جو من الاطمئنان والثقة.

(b) Assist the Government of Rwanda in facilitating the voluntary and safe return of refugees and, to this end, support the Government of Rwanda in its ongoing efforts to promote a climate of confidence and trust through the performance of monitoring tasks;
)ب( مساعدة حكومة رواندا في تيسير العودة الطوعية والمأمونة للاجئين، ولبلوغ هذه الغاية، دعم حكومة رواندا في جهودها المستمرة لتهيئة مناخ تسوده الثقة والطمأنينة عن طريق أداء مهام المراقبة؛

“(b) To monitor the voluntary and safe return of refugees and displaced persons to their home of origin in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, as provided for in the Basic Agreement;

Further, the Council decided to increase the troop strength of UNIFIL to a maximum of 15,000 and that UNIFIL should, in addition to its original mandate, monitor the cessation of hostilities and extend its assistance to help ensure humanitarian access to civilian populations and the voluntary and safe return of displaced persons.
كما قرر المجلس أن يأذن بزيادة قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان إلى حد أقصى قوامه 000 15 جندي، وأن تتولى هذه القوة - بالإضافة إلى ولايتها الأصلية - رصد وقف الأعمال القتالية وتقديم مساعداتها لكفالة وصول المساعدة الإنسانية إلى السكان المدنيين والعودة الطوعية والآمنة للمشردين.

8. The Mission will also liaise with all partners to ensure a coherent approach aimed at contributing to the voluntary and safe return of refugees and internally displaced persons.
8 - وستقيم البعثة أيضا اتصالات مع جميع الشركاء لكفالة اتباع نهج متسق يرمي إلى المساهمة في العودة الطوعية والآمنة للاجئين والمشردين داخليا.

The Council reiterated its call on the parties, in particular the Government of the Sudan, to ensure the protection of civilians and to facilitate humanitarian access to the affected population, emphasized the need for the Government to facilitate the voluntary and safe return of refugees and displaced persons to their homes, and to provide protection for them, and called upon all parties, including opposition groups, to support these objectives.
وكرر المجلس نداءه إلى الأطراف لكي تحرص على حماية المدنيين وتسهيل وصول المساعدة الإنسانية إلى السكان المتضررين. وأكد المجلس ضرورة قيام حكومة السودان بتسهيل العودة الطوعية والآمنة للاجئين والمشردين إلى ديارهم، وتوفير الحماية لهم. ودعا جميع الأطراف، بما فيها الجماعات المعارضة، إلى دعم هذه الأهداف.

In that regard, the Council emphasizes the need for the Government of Sudan to facilitate the voluntary and safe return of refugees and displaced persons to their homes, and to provide protection for them, and also calls upon all parties, including opposition groups, to support these objectives.
ويؤكد المجلس في هذا الصدد، ضرورة قيام حكومة السودان بتسهيل العودة الطوعية والآمنة للاجئين والمشردين إلى ديارهم، وتوفير الحماية لهم، كما يدعو جميع الأطراف، بما فيها الجماعات المعارضة، إلى دعم هذه الأهداف.

30. 10. In Chad, the Mission will also liaise with the United Nations country team and with all relevant partners, including the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, to ensure a coherent approach aimed at contributing to the voluntary and safe return of refugees and internally displaced persons.
10 - وفي تشاد، ستكون البعثة أيضا على اتصال مع فريق الأمم المتحدة القطري وجميع الشركاء المعنيين، بما في ذلك البنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي، لضمان اتباع نهج متسق بهدف الإسهام في العودة الطوعية والآمنة للاجئين والمشردين داخليا.

7. Affirms that all parties are responsible for ensuring that no action is taken contrary to paragraph 1 that might adversely affect the search for a long-term solution, humanitarian access to civilian populations, including safe passage for humanitarian convoys, or the voluntary and safe return of displaced persons, and calls on all parties to comply with this responsibility and to cooperate with the Security Council;
7 - يؤكد مسؤولية جميع الأطراف عن كفالة عدم اتخاذ أي إجراء يخالف أحكام الفقرة 1 مما يؤثر تأثيرا ضارا على عملية البحث عن حل طويل الأجل، ووصول المساعدة الإنسانية إلى السكان المدنيين، بما في ذلك المرور الآمن لقوافل المساعدة الإنسانية، أو العودة الطوعية والآمنة للمشردين، ويطالب جميع الأطراف الامتثال لهذه المسؤولية والتعاون مع مجلس الأمن؛

(k) The Government of Myanmar is encouraged to continue its cooperation with UNHCR in facilitating and ensuring the voluntary and safe return of Rakhine Muslims from Bangladesh;

(a) Exercise its good offices to assist in achieving the voluntary and safe repatriation of Rwandan refugees within the frame of reference of the recommendations of the Bujumbura Conference and the Cairo Summit of the Heads of State of the Great Lakes Region, and in promoting genuine national reconciliation,
)أ( ممارسة مساعيها الحميدة للمساعدة في تحقيق العودة الطوعية والمأمونة للاجئين الروانديين إلى وطنهم ضمن اﻹطار المرجعي لتوصيات مؤتمر بوجمبورا ومؤتمر قمة القاهرة لرؤساء دول منطقة البحيرات الكبرى، وفي العمل على تحقيق مصالحة وطنية حقيقية؛

5. In the light of current efforts to restore peace and stability through the voluntary and safe repatriation of Rwandan refugees, the Security Council by its resolution 1029 (1995) adjusted the mandate of UNAMIR for the final period from 1 January to 8 March 1996 so that the Mission would:
٥ - في ضوء الجهود الجارية لاستعادة السلام والاستقرار عن طريق العودة الطوعية والمأمونة للاجئين الروانديين الى وطنهم، عدل مجلس اﻷمن، في قراره ١٠٢٩ )١٩٩٥(، ولاية البعثة للفترة النهائية من ١ كانون الثاني/يناير الى ٨ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٦ لكي تقوم البعثة بما يلي:

(b) To monitor the voluntary and safe return of refugees and displaced persons to their home of origin in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, as provided for in the Basic Agreement;
)ب( الاضطلاع برصد العودة الاختيارية واﻵمنة للاجئين والمشردين إلى ديارهم اﻷصلية، بالتعاون مع مفوضية اﻷمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، على النحو المنصوص عليه في الاتفاق اﻷساسي؛

(a) Strengthen its efforts to secure the voluntary and safe return of Sudanese refugee children and their families, in accordance with all international standards;
(أ) تعزيز جهودها لتأمين العودة الطوعية الآمنة للأطفال السودانيين اللاجئين وعائلاتهم وفق المعايير الدولية؛
