Six weeks ago the Ad Hoc Committee of the Whole of the General Assembly completed the mid-term review of the implementation of the United Nations New Agenda for the Development of Africa in the 1990s (UN-NADAF).

We therefore call upon the international community to fully and urgently implement the conclusions and recommendations of the Ad Hoc Committee of the Whole of the General Assembly contained in document A/51/48 submitted for our consideration.
