158. At the Nairobi Summit, it was agreed to " ensure effective integration of mine victims in the work of the Convention, inter alia, by encouraging States Parties and organisations to include victims on their delegations. "
158- اتُفق في مؤتمر قمة نيروبي، على " ضمان الإدماج الفعال لضحايا الألغام الأرضية في العمل المضطلع به بموجب الاتفاقية وذلك عن طريق أمور من بينها تشجيع الدول الأطراف والمنظمات على أن تضم وفودها أشخاصاً من الضحايا " ().

The SBSTA noted that the AR4 is relevant to the work of the Convention and its Kyoto Protocol.
ولاحظت الهيئة الفرعية أهمية التقرير التقييمي الرابع لأعمال الاتفاقية وبروتوكول كيوتو الملحق بها.

The use of space applications and services is of great relevance to the work of the Convention on Biological Diversity, especially ecosystem and habitat monitoring and assessment through satellite imagery.
63- علما بأن لاستخدام التطبيقات والخدمات الفضائية صلة كبيرة بعمل اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي، وبخاصة رصد وتقييم النظام الايكولوجي والموائل الطبيعية من خلال التصوير الساتلي.

The proposals for action also requested the Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity to take note of the work of various existing initiatives on criteria and indicators for sustainable forest management to ensure that the work of the Convention on Biological Diversity on developing and implementing biodiversity indicators would be consistent with and complementary to criteria and indicators initiatives.
