1. Notes that some of the concerns regarding the improvement of the working conditions of the local staff in the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force have been addressed;

75. The Special Committee requests the Secretary-General to look into the improvement of the working conditions of the local staff in those United Nations peacekeeping missions where there is a need for such an improvement.
75 - وتطلب اللجنة الخاصة من الأمين العام أن تنظر في تحسين ظروف عمل الموظفين المحليين في بعثات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام التي تدعو الحاجة فيها إلى ذلك.

30. The General Assembly, in paragraph 1 of its resolution 55/264 of 14 June 2001, noted that some of the concerns regarding the improvement of the working conditions of the local staff at UNDOF had been addressed.
30 - وأحاطت الجمعية العامة في الفقرة 1 من قرارها 55/264 المؤرخ 14 حزيران/يونيه 2001 علما بمعالجة بعض الشواغل المتعلقة بتحسين ظروف عمل الموظفين المحليين في القوة.

Also requests the Secretary-General to expedite the process of improving the working conditions of the local staff in the Force, taking into account the difficulties arising from the relocation of Force headquarters from Damascus to Camp Faouar, and requests the Secretary-General to report thereon to the General Assembly at its fifty-fourth session;
٧ - تطلب أيضا إلى اﻷمين العام اﻹسراع في عملية تحسين ظروف عمل الموظفين المحليين في القوة، مع مراعاة المصاعب الناشئة عن نقل مقر قوة اﻷمم المتحدة لمراقبة فض الاشتباك من دمشق إلى مخيم نبع الفوار. وتطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا بهذا الشأن إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الرابعة والخمسين؛

In resolution 54/266 of 15 June 2000, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to expedite the process of improving the working conditions of the local staff of the Force, taking into account the difficulties arising from the relocation of the Force headquarters from Damascus to Camp Faouar, and to report thereon to the Assembly at its fifty-fourth session.
2 - في القرار 54/266، المؤرخ 15 حزيران/يونيه 2000، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام الإسراع في عملية تحسين ظروف عمل الموظفين المحليين لدى القوة، بما في ذلك مراعاة المصاعب الناجمة عن نقل مقر القوة من دمشق إلى معسكر الفوار، وتقديم تقرير عن ذلك إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الرابعة والخمسين.

11. In view of the General Assembly's request that the Secretary-General should continue the process of improving the working conditions of the local staff at UNDOF, and in light of the special conditions prevailing for staff serving at Camp Faouar, the Secretary-General would be prepared to elaborate a separate salary scale for Camp Faouar.
11 - نظرا لطلب الجمعية العامة أن يواصل الأمين العام عملية تحسين ظروف عمل الموظفين المحليين لدى القوة، وفي ضوء الظروف الخاصة السائدة المتعلقة بالموظفين العاملين في معسكر الفوار، سيكون الأمين العام على استعداد للنظر في وضع جدول مرتبات منفصل لمعسكر الفوار.

24. In paragraph 7 of its resolution 53/226, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General " to expedite the process of improving the working conditions of the local staff in the Force, taking into account the difficulties arising from the relocation of Force headquarters from Damascus to Camp Faouar " .
24 - وطلبت الجمعية العامة بموجب الفقرة 7 من قرارها 53/226 إلى الأمين العام " الإسراع في عملية تحسين ظروف عمل الموظفين المحليين في القوة، مع مراعاة المصاعب الناشئة عن نقل مقر الأمم المتحدة لمراقبة فض الاشتباك من دمشق إلى مخيم نبع الفوار " .

2. Mr. Nakkari (Syrian Arab Republic) welcomed the fact that some of the concerns expressed in General Assembly resolution 53/226 on the financing of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) had been addressed, particularly in regard to expediting the process of improving the working conditions of the local staff in the Force.
