66- إن قضايا التمييز من الناحية التشريعية قد حسمها الدستور اليمني حيث كفل المساواة لجميع المواطنين اليمنيين في الحقوق والواجبات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية والسياسية دون تمييز.

24. Articles 47 and 52 of the Yemeni Constitution stipulate that all citizens are on an equal footing in regard to their rights and obligations and must be protected from subjection to any arbitrary or unlawful interference with their privacy, family, home, correspondence or communications.
٣٢- نصت المادتين ٧٤ و٢٥ من الدستور اليمني على توفير الحماية للمواطنين جميعاً، وساوت بينهم في الحقوق والواجبات وفي حمايتهم من التعرض ﻷي تعسف أو إجراء غير قانوني في حياتهم الخاصة اﻷسرية أو المنزلية أو المراسلات أو الاتصالات بأنواعها.

8- وقد أورد الدستور اليمني في مادته رقم 6 ما نصه " تؤكد الدولة العمل بميثاق الأمم المتحدة والإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان وميثاق جامعة الدول العربية وقواعد القانون الدولي المعترف بها بصورة عامة " .
